Marketing Intern

Aam is looking for a smart, tenacious Marketing Intern who is looking to get first-hand experience in the fashion industry. The position will report directly to our CEO, Neha. In this role, you will spearhead several marketing initiatives for the business, including, but not limited to:

  • Driving the development of evergreen and seasonal/trend-driven marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness, consideration and conversion.
  • Creating and posting all content on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Youtube and Twitter.
  • Owning community management and engagement on Instagram in a way that fosters trust and brand love. You will interact on behalf of the brand with consumers and fans on the platform.
  • Creating and optimizing ad campaigns on Facebook and Instagram.
  • Pioneering brand partnerships that will increase Aam’s brand awareness and reach.
  • Partnering with the CEO on brand positioning and the monthly content calendar.

This position will require you to take on a leadership role at a small, fast-paced fashion brand. You must be excited about consumer growth and understand how to grow an online presence. 

Required Qualifications:

  • Social native. Experience building and growing a social media presence on at least 3 out of the following 5 platforms: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Youtube & Twitter.
  • Clear communication skills. Open, honest and clear communicator (written and verbal), willing to collaborate and receptive to feedback. You must be an excellent social media copywriter.
  • Superior time management. Highly organized, sticks to a working schedule across multiple priorities and clearly communicates delays. 
  • Intellectual curiosity and drive. Excels in a fast-paced learning environment and isn’t afraid to speak up. You’ll be working with a CEO who wants to hear what you have to say.

The internship is remote, and part-time (20 hrs per week). It is unpaid, but includes a variable cash component tied to the organization’s KPIs. You will be mentored by the CEO with access to her network, given a written referral for future roles and, contingent on performance, will have opportunities to participate in trade shows and brand photo shoots as well.
