I purchased the large after reading a few reviews. My measurements are between a medium (waist) and large (hip). I might try a medium if I were to get another pair. When I first put them on, I was glad I got a large, but they did stretch out a bit after wearing and -- on me -- there's some extra fabric in the lower abdomen/crotch area that is not ideal. Otherwise, they are super comfy and perfect for the office!
I am one of those who has to buy curvy pants, and STILL can't take them in enough to actually fit. These pants fit me better than anything I've ever bought. The size Large is perfect for me (31" waist, 44" hips, lotsa curve). I usually hate lowered waists, but because of the construction of the flex waist pants, they didn't dig into me or muffin out at all. This will be the only pair of mid-rise pants in my closet (until I go back for another color). I had to exchange my first pair (medium), but AAM made it a great experience the whole way.
Real talk I already own a pair of green pants in this exact shade, but after how much I liked the navy I decided might as well buy a second pair since I cannot keep wearing the same pants over and over. I didn't have time to take them to the tailor and get them taken out, but to my surprise I really, really like the length they are--and I'm a 33-34" inseam for normal pants. I even cuff them? sometimes? who am I? These can totally be dressed up for a chic look--was able to get away with wearing them to my business formal office (threw a blazer on) but then wasn't massively overdressed for cocktails afterwards. With a cropped top and white sneakers they're super chill (because of the fabric). The tailoring makes them suitable for even a formal office (mine).
This pant fits great. The flexible waist is really subtle, which I like. I wish they had this pant in a lighter color.
These are the pants I was looking forward to most from the collection--they're so sleek and tailored, and comfortable to boot. I have paid hundreds of dollars for "custom fit pants" from various brands, and none of them fit quite as well as this pant did straight out of the box. Plus there's length!!! As a taller curvy lady, lots of pants that are "ankle length" fall at a really unflattering length such that I look sort of cut off, but these were perfect once I undid the blind hem and had a tailor re-hem them just the smallest bit (the picture has a ~0.25" hem). The waist is some sort of black magic as well--the pockets sort of dynamically adjust such that they don't pop out weirdly? And they're enormous. Every other pant I have in this silhouette I've had to sew the pockets shut to prevent the line from being ruined. This is how much I love these pants: I already have an expensive pair of tailored, dark green pants and I still might buy these in green. Natural waist 31.5", inseam of 33.5" ish, 5'7" and 135 pounds
