1. Waist
- Find your natural waistline — it’s the narrowest part of your torso, just above your belly button.
- Relax your stomach and breathe naturally.
- Wrap the tape around your waist without pulling it too tight.
- Keep the tape snug but comfortable.
2. Hips
- Stand with your feet together.
- Measure around the fullest part of your hips and buttocks (usually about 7–9 inches below your waist).
- Keep the measuring tape straight and parallel to the floor.
3. Shoulder Width
- Stand upright with your back straight.
- Measure from the edge of one shoulder to the edge of the other, across the back.
- Keep the tape straight and level.
4. Arm Length
- Start at the top of your shoulder.
- Measure down to your wrist bone, with your arm slightly bent.
5. Inseam (for pants/jeans)
- Stand with your feet slightly apart.
- Measure from the top of your inner thigh down to your ankle bone.
